Tips for Your Eloping in Mount Rainier

Timing is Everything: To make the most of the stunning scenery, plan your shoot during the golden hour—early morning or late afternoon. The soft, natural light enhances the colours and is very flattering.
Choosing your season: Eloping in Mount Rainier is best from May to October. Between this time you can choose to elope in the spring with all the wildflowers, during beautiful summer weather where you will have late sunsets, or in the fall when all the beautiful leaves have changed colour.
Arrive early: During the busy season, on weekends it can be very busy and at times hard to find parking, I recommend choosing sunrise for the busiest trails, or arriving early to find a spot.
Be Prepared: The temperature drops drastically after sunset and is very cold before sunrise I recommend having layers that can easily go over your wedding outfits for hiking before the sunrise, and a warm blanket for sunset to cover yourself in between photos.
Plan to take Photos at night time! This is a huge tip, as many people don't know this but Mount Rainier gets a beautiful view of the stars at night time, I recommend hiring a photographer who is well versed in capturing stars. Check out this photo of the Lake Tipsoo at night time:
